Research Interests

Community-based health promotion research, addressing food security and access, health/racial disparities issues, prevention and management of diet-related chronic diseases with cardiovascular risks; to assure healthy aging with focus on lifestyle behaviors and issues related to overall health and wellness in disparate population groups (older adult, low-socioeconomic status, rural and other underserved and vulnerable populations), employing a population specific and conceptual approach.
